What does Cyber Security Mean to Me

I believe cybersecurity is essential to our collective experience with technology and the online world. The internet has made our globalized world more transnational with more access comes significant security needs, as more threat actors exist.

Cyber Security has become the backbone of companies’, organizations’, and governments' success in protecting personal data transnationally. The Internet has created a world where people no longer need a passport to access content, data, or each other, making us more connected than ever before, consequently, making us vulnerable. Cyber Security is not only a technical role but also involves solving physical and social security problems. Overall, cyber security is the glue that maintains the social contract of privacy and integrity. Cyber Security protects data, empowers people, and creates a safer online world.

Work Experience

My work experience is a dynamic mixture of skills and experiences. I have worked as an Adult English language teacher, in Human Resources as a recruiter, as a Customer Service agent, and in Leadership roles.
